Statistics Team for the Advancement and Nurturing of Diversity (STAND) is an initiative that fosters diversity and inclusion in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at UCLA between faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students. Each quarter, the department hosts events such as high school outreach, food bank volunteering and hiking.
